Grave of Gaston of Foix, Castello Sforzesco, Milan

The Funerary monument to Gaston de Foix, commander of the French army, killed at Ravenna in 1512, was sculpted by Agostino Busti called “il Bambaja” (ca. 1480-1548). The statue of Gaston is very popular among visitors for the very handsome appearence of the portrait.
